Cherry Point Spouse Club
and The Whistle Stop
The Cherry Point Spouse Club (CPSC) at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, home of the Second Marine Aircraft Wing, is a multiple year sponsor of our program! Established in the early 1950s, CPSC is a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization dedicated to fostering community and support. Beyond being an all-hands social club, CPSC is a guardian of cherished traditions, committed to enriching the lives of military personnel and their families.
The Whistle Stop offers a wide variety of inexpensive, previously owned clothing, uniforms, and other merchandise to out Marine Corps and Navy members and their families. Profits generated by sales provide scholarships to military dependents and financial assistance to local, regional. and national organizations.
The CPSC has funded the band via grants for large instrument purchases, most recently a set of five marching bass drums and a baritone saxophone.
Havelock Chili Festival
The Havelock Chili Festival is an annual event held in Havelock, North Carolina. It's a one-day celebration that focuses on a variety of cook-offs, including chicken wings, chili verde, red chili, and salsa. The festival gives participants a chance to compete for bragging rights, while attendees can enjoy sampling the diverse offerings. It is a family-friendly event that supports local non-profit organizations through grants and scholarships.
The Havelock Band Boosters worked in a variety of capacities in preparation for the event and for clean up, and provided chili!
The Havelock Chili Festival gave the Havelock Band Boosters $1500.00 in appreciation of our work this year.
Sunset Slush of Neport
Sunset Slush is a company known for its Classic Italian Ice®, a frozen dessert described as smooth, flavorful, dairy-free, low-calorie, and refreshing.
Each location is owned by independent operators, and Sunset Slush of Newport is owned by Ryan George. Mr. George provided italian ice cups for our Crystal Coast Band Classic at a discounted price this season and is a continued supporter of our program.

Gray's Towing
Gray's Towing is a family-owned and operated towing and roadside assistance company with a rich history of serving Eastern North Carolina for over 50 years. Established in 1967 as Gray's Texaco, the business has expanded significantly, now boasting a fleet of 29 power units capable of handling a wide range of needs, from light duty towing and roadside assistance to heavy duty towing and equipment transport.
Gray's Towing has been a supporter of the Havelock Bands for many years!
Havelock Moose Lodge
The Moose Lodge in Havelock, North Carolina, is located at 1007 E Main St, Havelock, NC 28532. It is associated with the Loyal Order of Moose, an international organization dedicated to supporting children, seniors, and communities through charitable initiatives.
Moose Lodge Purpose: To promote fraternity, benevolence, and charity within the community, supporting youth programs, offering social activities for seniors, and engaging in charitable projects.
The Moose Lodge always sponsors the Havelock High Band and allows us to host two carwashes each year at the Havelock Building!
Tagg & Whiteman's Engraving
Tagg & Whiteman's Engraving in Havelock provide a wide range of services to our community including engraving for plaques, trophies, shadow boxes, banners, signs and paddles. They also offer t-shirts, embroidery and screen printing services.
Tagg & Whiteman's owners are members of the Havelock Band Boosters and support the program in numerous ways throughout the year. With discounted t-shirts and awards to signs and other needed items, they are always waiting to help us! They provide the annual "Crystal Coast Band Classic T-shirts" that students always want to purchase at CCBC!
