The Sound of Havelock: Emerald Gala Invites the Community to an Elegant Evening of Celebration and Support
Havelock, North Carolina — The Havelock High School Bands and the Havelock Band Boosters proudly announce The Sound of Havelock: Emerald Gala, an elegant community celebration taking place on Friday, March 6, 2026, at the Havelock Tourist and Event Center.
Guests are cordially invited to a refined evening designed for those who enjoy getting dressed up, going out, and sharing a beautiful night with friends, neighbors, and fellow members of the greater Havelock community. The event captures the spirit of a formal night on the town, offering a chance to step away from the everyday routine and enjoy music, dining, dancing, and connection in an upscale setting.
The Sound of Havelock: Emerald Gala is inspired by the proud Sound of Freedom heard daily at the gates of Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point and represented by the well known Sound of the Havelock High School Bands. This evening honors the unity of our town, our military families, our alumni, our residents, and our surrounding communities as everyone comes together to support the future of music in Havelock.
This is not simply a band event. It is a community gala, created for those who appreciate a special evening out, complete with fine dining, live music, and lively entertainment.

6:00 PM Doors Open and Cocktail Hour with cash bar
6:00 to 8:00 PM Live Jazz Band Performance
7:00 to 8:00 PM Dinner catered by The Flame
8:00 to 11:00 PM Dancing and DJ Entertainment

The Emerald Gala supports the Havelock High School Bands and helps raise essential funds to ensure the program remains strong, accessible, and enriched for the next generation of musicians.
