Rain Plan for Colorguard-
Colorguard members will be bused to and from
Roger Bell Elementary
for inside rehearsal in the event of rain during a Marching Band Rehearsal.
I understand that all trips will take place on Craven County activity buses or Craven County approved charter buses. My son/daughter will comply with all school rules and band rules. The band director will provide a schedule of events for all trips and all information will be available
at Band Booster Meetings and given to the students during the school day. This
permission slip takes the place of getting signatures every week from parents for the entire semester of performances. If you prefer you may write permission slips (on a special form) weekly instead of
using this permission slip.
I, ___________________________________, do grant permission
for the above – named child to participate in the above activities and after being fully informed of the nature of the
activities, do hereby fully and unconditionally discharge and release the school and the Craven County Board of Education
and their respective administrators, employees, and agents from any and all claims of any nature (except negligence*) which
arise or result from the activities described above. If for any reason, once
being informed of the activity, you may deny permission for your child to participate in any field trip.
· Agreement does not dismiss Craven County Schools from liability
as a result of negligence. This form does not provide protection to Craven County School
in situations that are uncontrollable
