Parents and Students,
Our
central services has asked for some help in winning a grant for our
county 's 8th grade science departments. It
entails going to a site and
voting for Craven County's idea.
If you have the time when surfing a couple of minutes, take a look at the information below that I received from the
Science Coordinator for Craven County Schools.
-----Inline Attachment Follows-----
I am requesting your help
on behalf of the Grade 8 Science Teachers,
Students and High School Earth Science and Ecology Teachers:
Craven County is competing for a state/nation
grant for $15000. To win
(in N.C.) your proposal must have the most votes.
To vote follow the following procedures
and make a positive comment. A
comment COUNTS AS A VOTE.
Included is the link to the hamburger helper
grant. For
NC, we are CURRENTLY in 3rd place .
If you would pass on the link and have parents and teachers
vote that
would start the $$$.

Select NC then select New Bern. Scroll down to New Bern (Craven County),
Neuse
Riverkeepers-Floating Classroom project. I think we have to have the
most comments to win.
Thanks for
helping us help kids and teachers! Judy Dean
