Fall 2009 Office Hours for Directors
The HHS Band Program has several avenues it uses to help you stay informed.
♦ The ALERT NOW communication system will be used to immediately distribute important information by phone and email. Forms and instructions will be given to students, and the form is also available below. If you need to add, remove, or change any of the information you submitted, just email Mr. Benitez with that information.♦ If you are an alumni of the HHS band program, a Booster member but no longer have kids in the band program, or are one of the many Friends of the Band, we invite you to subscribe to Band Email. You'll get messages letting you know about upcoming performances, volunteer opportunities, and fundraisers.♦ Join the Band Boosters! We typically meet on the first and third Tuesdays each month at 7:30 in the Band Room. We try to keep the meeting to an hour. This is the Best Overall Source of information regarding band activities, and a chance to see how the overall band program operates. You’ll have a chance to pick volunteer activities, but you’ll never be pressured to do so! We hope to see you there!♦ The band office has voice mail. The direct line into the band room is (252) 444-5117. If there is no one available to answer the phone when you call, please leave a message and your call will be returned as soon as possible.

Do you take pictures or videos?We need LOTS and LOTS of pictures and video clips!! Especially fun, candid shots!Here are some guidelines to keep in mind when submitting them:
- Pictures and videos in digital format are preferred. Don't worry about cropping, we can take care of that.
- Photos typically take up too much space to email so putting them on a cd and handing it to a band director is the best way. If this is not possible, let us know and we will try to make other arrangements.
