Havelock High School is the only high school in Havelock, North
Carolina. The school has a student population of approximately 1100. The band program consists of Marching Band, Concert Band,
Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, and Winterguard. The Marching Band is the school's biggest organization, boasting
more than 10% of the student population.
The Marching Rams is the biggest organization on campus, having over
130 participants. The Marching Rams have participated in BOA, USSBA, and TOB sanctioned events throughout the state of North
Carolina and the east coast. The Marching Rams also host the annual marching competition the Crystal Coast Band
Classic. Besides competing, the Marching Rams also participate in numerous community functions.
The concert programs are also very active in the state. The Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, and Jazz Band participate
in NCBA Eastern District Music Adjudication in the Spring. These ensembles have received consistant Excellent and
Superior Ratings in these events.
